✅ How to Play Brick Breaker
- Move the paddle left and right to bounce the ball upward into the bricks.
- Break all the bricks to advance to the next level. Each level adds more rows.
- You have 3 lives — lose one every time the ball passes below the paddle.
- Catch power-up capsules that fall from destroyed bricks for bonuses.
- On desktop: move with mouse or arrow keys. On mobile: drag your finger on the canvas.
Common Questions
What do the different coloured bricks mean?
Different colours indicate how many hits a brick needs. Grey bricks take 1 hit, blue 2, green 3 and red 4 hits. Stronger bricks are worth more points.
What power-ups are available?
Power-ups include: 🔵 Wide Paddle (makes paddle wider for 10 seconds), 🔥 Fireball (ball passes through bricks), and ⚡ Fast Ball (increases ball speed for a challenge).
Does the game get harder each level?
Yes — each level adds an extra row of bricks, increases the ball speed slightly, and introduces tougher multi-hit bricks in higher levels.
Is my high score saved?
Yes — your all-time best score is saved in your browser so you can return and try to beat it.
